One year of creations!!

Goodnight!

One year ago I began this blog in order to share my creations with all. When I thought about a blog I didn't imagine that I could write one year and I din't think either that I will grow with it. One year ago I began this blog in Spanish and English and my creations where only brooches and key-rings made with felt, I had no idea also I would buy a sewing machine and I will begin to sew bibs, buffs, cases... even school bags. This blog is growing with me and learning with me. In this album is all the evolution of this year. Although sometimes was difficult to find the time to write o create always I have tried to find the moment to disconnect and doing something and this is the way as I learnt little by little to sew, to know how use my sewing machine, to use different kind of fabrics and also to learn languages ;-),

After a year I will continue with this blog! I will continue to create and write all my little projects and sharing with you all this special moments, with all of people like me that spend free time to doing beautiful and personalized things.

Pin cushion and my first applications

After Christmas I wanted to make a pin cushion. I have a little one and all the pins always finished out of it. The first idea was to make a pin cushion with pillow shape with different fabrics and laces. The result was a little different. Never happened to you that you have an idea in your mini but finally you finished doing something different? It happens to me and finally the pin cushion has pillow shape in one face and a funny face in the other 😊. I Also decided to sew two laces in order to tie it wherever I want and always it will be near.

This week I have finished the apron I talked to you sometime ago. The result is nice and yet it has no owner.

I am thinking in new projects, what do you think about this?

Magic night!

Hello,

Today is the night of the three kings! It is a magic night where kids wait for the arrival of the kings with the gifts to everyone. It is a great tradition, kids wrote his letters to the kings some days ago  saying they've been good kids in order to get what they've asked for. This afternoon the streets of all the citites were full of people to see the arrival of the majesties in the city.

Tomorrow is a nice day with a lot of hope and excitement waiting for the gifts. Today a lot of people have worked so nobody stayed tomorrow without a present and everyone can open a gift with a big smile in their face.

I'm also nervous  because this year one of the kings sewed a fantastic Spiderman stuff for my nephew, I hope he will like as much as I loved doing it ;-). The three kings are so kind and take care off everybody so tomorrow will be a day full off happiness and magic that will finish eating all around a table a special dessert called "roscón de reyes".
